about

The band “Alcool” can be considered one of the "historical" Florentine progressive rock bands;
born in 1979 with Sergio Salaorni - voice, Gianni Salaorni - guitar, Riccardo Salaorni - guitar, Alessandro Raimondi - drums, Antonio Torrini – bass, Claudio Pastorino - keyboards.
After numerous concerts in Tuscany and Florence and after a single released on 45 rpm, the group took a break in 1988.
However, Sergio, Alessandro, Gianni and other musicians, including Giampiero Rezoagli, who contributed to the drafting of the texts and ideas for the arrangements, continue to produce music and in particular various songs that act as a "soundtrack" to a novel, the story of Norman Geneve.
In 2002 on the occasion of "Un weekend postmoderno" they reunite again to play at Tenax (Florence) and in 2003 on the occasion of "Firenze Sogna" they return to perform at Flog (Florence).
In April 2005 an EP on CD "Aspettando Geneve" is released with 5 original tracks which is presented in the venue “Anomalia” (Prato).
After another "silent" period we arrive at December 18, 2022 where Alcool 2.0 reappears
to the public on the occasion of Mokke's Christmas party at the Viper in Florence in the new line-up with Luca Cantasano on bass and Roy Bynder Gallupi as guest on keyboards.
The first album by Alcool 2.0: UBT (men on everyone's lips), comes out in January 2023 and contains 11 largely unreleased songs of great depth and intensity.

Alien Roy project Florence, Italy

Dedicated to all those who wish music vibrations go directly from heart to soul - dedicated to all those who want to make a deep plunge in harmony and fly. We started in 2008 as trio, then old friend Gianni joined with his guitar teletransporting from jazz-swing-bossa to bossa-fusion-experimental-progressive... and looking forward! ... more
